What an evening it was. Thank you to the 80 people who came to watch the 1985 film of Burke & Wills. It is an important part of our Australian history, portrayed well by Jack Thompson and Nigel Havers.
Our musicians Lilla & Lucy created a wonderful ambience of a bygone era with their violin and cello. Phil spoke about his imminent Trek. We all enjoyed freshly made popcorn by Paul & family from 3
Princes Cinema and homemade muffins & gingerbread by Susan, tea & coffee from the Royal Society of Victoria all presented beautifully. All money raised going to The Fred Hollows Foundation.
